The Venetian is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!!!!! It isn’t cheap, but worth every dollar. The rooms are huge, the view is amazing, the Canale and the gondolas are incredible, the service is excellent…. I could go on and on… it’s a Venetian fantasy. Venice can’t be better!! The next time in Las Vegas we’ll go there again!
Just looking for something very special for me and my wife for our honeymoon. We get married on July 3, 2008 but want to travel on July 4, 2008 and check out July 8, 2008.
The nicest place I’ve ever stayed, and I stayed at some pretty nice places. The rooms are huge, and it will take me a long time to not feel slighted by the room size at any other place I stay. The place is very quality built. it’s like staying at a European palace. The Venetian/Venezia/Palazzo complex is so big it will take you quite a while to run out of things to see and do there.
The only warning is that the place is so big that if you want to leave the property, it can become an ordeal. The walk from our room to the main lobby was probably 400 yards. I’d read other reviews about traffic jams in the parking garage, particularly when the shows let out, so I just valet parked all the time and that saved some walking and frustration.
The most reasonably priced restaurant is the Grand Lux, and the Food Court by the Casino had some nicer food than you usually find at a food court. You could also get a decent breakfast there for under $10.
Overall, staying there was a very enjoyable experience.
